How do I set which scout does the scouting?!

Hey,

I'm currently playing my first run through on FM11.. I haven't the slightest idea how to get my best scout to actually do the scouting!

When I get backroom advice to scout this or that player, it is always from my assistant manager or another scout who are around 10 or below in judging CA/PA.

However I signed a scout with 15/16 CA/PA but I don't know how to put him to take over all these scouting duties...

Please help

For eg you want a scout report for Daniele De Rossi, right click in his name > get scout report, and then choose your best scout mate

If you press the scout player button in the backroom advice, whoever suggested the player will do the scouting.

The above suggestion shows how to get round this, and it's what I usually do.

Ok yeah, I meant all the automatic scouting that gets done, and for example when you can scout the England Trial Day the players all get scouted by your assistant and when you try to scout them individually there is no longer an option to scout them with specific scouts.

I guess scouting is a somewhat manual task.

Yep I have my good scout setup there but he still doesn't do much scouting
