Hi,
I would like some help please.
I would like to transfer all of my current team/tactics/skins/shortlists/scouted players etc. (basically as it is!!) to a new installation on a new partition of a new hard drive.
The new hard drive is much bigger than my old one (which I cloned to the new drive).
I have set the drive up as four partitions (one as system drive and the other partitions as logical drives. I want to make one of the logical drives a games drive and wish to make a new installation of FM and transfer everything across from the old installation but without altering paths if possible (would I be able to copy and paste certain fuiles to enable this and if so can anybody telll me exactly what needs doing....files to move etc?
Thank you very much!

FM2011 creates a folder (PC based x64) called C:\Users\username\Documents\Sports Interactive, everything is stored on that folder, i mean, saved games, tactics, uploaded games, graphics. Save that folder and paste where you want. About installation files, i don't know.

Thanks, yeah, thats what I thought, but if I were to install onto another partition I would have to alter file paths etc. within the game itself? In order to avoid this, firstly because it would take a long time and secondly, some programs/games etc do not allow you to alter or have hidden path locations which are inaccessible to a user so it may not work. I would really like to transfer all the necessary data from my present installation but to point it at the new location on my new partitioned drive....

Use a USB drive and just copy them files onto the new partition after installing the game.

There are programs that can do this, but Im not sure any are particularly reliable (free ones anyway).

best bet is to probably backup your games, kits, graphics, skins etc... and then uninstall. partition the drive and reinstall it on the new one, before re-adding your downloads and games to the correct directory on your system, whatever that may be.

Someone more tecy savvy might have a better answer though.
