How do you make a quality player on Editor?

I've been tampering for the last hour on editor with a player i've created and the highest I can het is finishing etc is 12! Im trying to make him have high numbers, but no matter whhat I type into the editor, they come out alot lower in the game.

Advice on how to make the numbers high?

How old is the player? Try making him around 20 if you're using a CA of more than 150.
If you make him younger drop the CA down to 120ish.

Also physical stats and his ability with his feet seem to take up more CA so try and just use the key ones. You can't make super players with stats like Messi/Ronaldo with the Editor the CA range just doesn't work out that way.

Give him high Current ability and Potential ability. Remeber. PA must! be higher than CA.

Kilmarnock Fc, now have a striker worth 10 million playing for them!
Dont know if il be able to keep him now aha!
