How do you make have better regens, and better players overall?

Hey, guys! I'm new to FM, period. How do you make it so that a country has better players and better youth players? J/w because I'm an American who enjoys football a lot, and so I really wished that American soccer will one day be up to par with the European football. At least for now, I can MAKE Americans good/better, right? Thanks for helping me out!

You can make a certain country have better regens etc through the editor if that's what you mean? I'm not sure how as i've never tried it, I'm sure there's a guide about on here somewhere or someone will be along to help you out soon that might know a bit more about it. I know you can do it in the editor though, just not sure how.
