How easy is it to pogress to new jobs?

I'm starting my first game.

When choosing my club I duno to start in Premier League or Conference.

I wanna go upwards and manage a Championship club within 4 seasons. If I get a promotion or two to League 2 or 1 will my rep go up?

I played Championship Manager 2007 and it was IMPOSSIBLE to get ANY new job even after i took Stafford Rangers to League 2!

depends on which rep you choose for yourself at the start.

if you choose sunday league footballer then top lcubs may not offer you a job even you win league 2 by a mile. if you sart with a semi pro or pro rep then any success will be rewarded with loads of job offers.

starting with an international footballer rep will see you get job offers almost from the start of the game, regardless of your on pitch success

It's logical for a managers reputation to increase as they are more successful eg. doing better than expected or or getting a promotion.

Look at Avram Grant; no real managerial experience (Israeli league is like football conference) and he managed Chelsea and now Portsmouth.

Success on the pitch should be the most important criteria for a managers progress.
