Is this a glitch? Very annoying! It's actually happened to me before in previous Fm's..
Can someone explain? or is it unexplainable?

I beleive the first tie breaker is the two games between the two, did you lose to Belarus??

Check the rules. It may not go off goal difference - which would be strange, but its the only reason I can think of.

Well I drew 2-2 the first game against Belarus then lost 3-2 the second. It says the League sorting rules are 1. Results between teams 2. Goal Difference. 3. Goals scored. So in that case I should be through.. right?? Aaaagh.... feckin Ireland, we're always getting cheated!

No the game is right sorry... ;)

Because you drew then lost against Belarus they go above you. If you had won the first game you would be above them because of your goal difference.

you sure? Well that sucks... to be honest I've never heard of that, I always thught it was down to goal difference!

Well the rules do say it all: 1. Results between teams 2. Goal Difference. 3. Goals scored

This is the order in which the teams are separated. So if teams are tied on points it will go off 'Results between teams' first. It will not even look at goal difference unless you won one game and the other team won the other or both games where draws.

Finishing behind Belarus should be reason enough. |)

If you can't get more points then Belarus then you just don't deserve to qualify..

The spanish league does the same thing and maybe other countires in Europe. Personally I believe its fairer than goal difference.
