I'm trying to sign some good coaches for Everton but most of them had poor adaptability. Does it really make much of a difference? I haven't seen any noticeable difference so far..
Also I'm looking to change my Head of youth development. One has good stats with good adaptability while another has brilliant stats but only 9 adaptability and is also asking for lesser wages. Which one would you sign?

Adaptability determines how long it takes for the staff member to settle in, but is only a problem if they don't speak the language of where your managing or has no knowledge of that country.

So until he knows the nation, along with his tactical knowledge attribute, the accuracy of his advice will be off while he get's used to your league and players.

Yup. So when searching go for someone who has minimum 13-14 adaptability OR ability to speak language of the country you're currently managing in. HoD doesn't necessarily need adaptability in my experience but it couldn't hurt I suppose.
