How is 14.2?

Not played for a while now, was just getting frustrated at the game. How's the 14.2 update? Fixed a lot of the issues or are some people still finding it broken?

People will have different opinions but I think it has gone down hill from the last patch !! I'm still winning etc etc but the fixes to the ME have made it worse !! It's awful to watch !! The last game I played we had an injury and the physio ran straight across the pitch whilst game was in play after tending to the injured player hitting the woodwork has been toned down but there's **** of a lot more injuries now but each to their own I suppose

defenders standing completely still in some situations
defenders making passes that makes no sense what so ever (laying it off for the other team or making endless cycles of passes back to the keeper)
players making own goals from corners without being pressured at all (regardless of what patch notes claim they did not fix this)
players tackling the air and still hitting players over 10 yards away
massive amounts of injuries from harmless situations

These are the main issues I'm seeing that's irritating me about the current patch

I've invested more than a few hours with this patch, and the changes that affects me:
1. Every player is prone to injuries. Doesn't matter if it's El Shaarawy or Lewandowski, none of your players are safe. When a player gets called up for an international game; go pray. He might come back with a 3 months injury.
2. Very easy to concede from corners.

Injuries are happening alarmingly frequently. On my Newcastle save I had FOUR players get injured in one training session!! One was a broken foot, another had broken ribs and the other two were out for between 2-3 weeks, can't remember the injuries. It's like aggression has been rammed past 20 for everyone.

Unfortunately I agree with others comments. I've played Football/Championship Manager now for 17 years and the 14.2 patch is the worst I've ever played, physio's on the pitch in the penalty area whilst somebody scores, corners being hit straight out of play, ridiculous decisions being made by players......If this is the way the game is going then I think SI will see sales dramatically reduce in years to come. Remember SI the idea of the game is for people to enjoy the game not hate it.

And here's the funny thing...I'm having a great time with 14.2. It's not faceroll easy as previous match engines have been, it's actually challenging and it's VERY IMPORTANT to use the appropriate shouts in response to your opponent's tactics, but it's still good fun for me. YMMV.

few things have gone bad in the new patch.

>GK tries to pass it to CB and the opposite ST intercepts and score. this frequency is almost unbelievable. happens atleast once in two matches

>it is nearly impossible to buy any top player, even though we are managing a top team. you will have to **** out more than 120m if u want a good players

>and it impossible to get a good value if you are selling a top player. for ex, madrid and psg were interested in luiz and ramires in my chelsea save. their market value is around 25m. the max offers i got was 13m for luiz and 20 for ramires after trying to sell them in two consecutive transfer windows

>and the order in which we keep the team lineup keeps changing during the games. no idea why

Played the new patch the past cluple of days. The game was better straight out of the box imo.
Injuries I agree with, its almost funny. Had one who got injured as soon as I installed the new patch. Now he has had more injuries than games played all season. He aint even injury-prone. Constantly got atleast 4 injured players.
Most goals for both sides seem to come from corners and shots seem to hit the woodwork just as much as before.

Still get a feeling that no matter how good your tactics and players are. The motivation, morale and form decides if you win or lose. A motivated player in form can play like Messi even if hes 15 years old with ****** attributes. While someone with 20 finishing cant even hit the net from 2 feet, if he aint motivated.

Injuries are freaking everywhere. After installing the patch, Bernard became injured for 4 months, and other players keeps getting 2-3+weeks of injuries.

I even had a game where Lamela, Wilshere, Sven Bender, and Naughton injured in a single game, only sven was the only who didnt get more than 2 months of injury recovery. I reload the game, as i think it was terrible ME randomness.
