How long can you delay a job offer?

I'm about to be offered the Millwall job, but it's nearly the end of the season and a lot more (better) jobs will be on the market soon!

I'm going to 'delay' when they offer me the job, but does anyone know how many times you can press delay before they withdraw the offer?

With player transfers you can normally delay them about twice I think...

There are two options - delay for a week and delay until the end of the season - but usually you only get the option to delay for a week so I guess the end of season one only activates close to the end of the season. So you may be ok and get that option. Quite what date the end of the season is I'm not sure.

when I've delayed for a week, the club normally accept two delays (sometimes three if I'm lucky) and then they refuse, at which point I've been reoffered a contract and must accept (or negotiate and accept) or walk away.
