I was wandering if its wise only to play say someone who is 18yrs old not every game of a season.

If there is a good formula for this if u can add to this post. Say for a 16yr, 17yr, 18yr, 19yr 20yr. What age do you not have to be concerned with the amount of games they are playing? I am wary that if u play someone at a certain age to much then they might get injured?

Ty.

ye young players will get more fatigued after matches. I really just try to play them in cups, and league games I should win. I now have a couple of beasty regens who are 19/20 who are playing regulary and seem fine.

I had Mauricio Pereyra and Fabian Delph both playing first team football in as many games as possible whilst they were both 19. Ricky Cortes (regen) has made a few sub appearances and he came to us at the age of 17, he's only 18 now.

Depends on the player's stamina, his fitness is the most important factor. You will want to give players from the age of 16-18 as little games as you can because at this age they should either be getting used to your club through reserves or on loan to a lower league to gain experience and possibly some helpful player interaction.

From 18 onwards his number of games would depend on how he performs, if he plays better than other older players than he definitely deserves more games.

Players under 20 get only around 10 starts and 10 subs unless they are playing much better than other players.

I took over fiorentina after about 12 games into the season and they were 18th

I only signed players under the age of 22 and sold on a majority of the squad almost straight away.

Finished 2nd in that season and have just finished my second season as winners of serie A after an unbeaten season (only in the league) not a bad effort seeing as though I have never managed outside the premiership before.

as far as im concerned youth is the way forward its the best thing about FM

I'm curious as to what you mean by players "burning out". As far as I know there's no player burnout implemented? It'd be a great random effect for players playing too many games, but (for example) Aguero played every game the last season I played, score more than a goal a game and generally kicked ****. I don't know what you mean by burnout unless you mean play them at too low condition so they rapidly get injured, or drop form which causes a run of a few bad matches due to the effect of morale? I'd love them to implement a burnout feature though, as it stops the AI from playing the same XI every ****** game.
