How much money does scouting cost?

I always pushed the board to allow scouting worldwide, but... does anybody know how much does scouting cost? Does scouting different continents cost significant amounts of money? Does increasing scouting range itself cost money?

As far as i know the further a scout has to travel the more it will cost. So obviously if youre based in england it will cost more to scout brazil then it would to scout scotland. How much more? No idea!
