I just thought id get everyones opinion on how realistically you play any Football manager game.. For me, is i play all my league/cup games in full match.. friendlies in highlight mode.. what about the rest of you? :)

I wear a suit, scream and shout at the computer and run around my house screaming when I win a game.

Oh, yeah, and also, I ***** EVEEEEERRRYWHHEEERREEE when I win the league.

Sure there are about 100 threads on this already, meh.

I've just used FMRTE to make two wonderkids with 199PA ( I'm not ******* to put 200PA) One LB to replace Evra, other CM to replace Carrick. And I'm playing with Burnley. I need a challenge. It's boring this way.

I give myself post-match interviews. I sing songs for my team, I'm a sad FM player, 3420 hours doesn't lie...

I post every bit of pointless information from my game on the FM-Base IRC Room :)

Well, because I got sick of watching the retarded AI standing around and being stupid, I now just watch commentary, but I take it unnaturally seriously. My heart rate even increases if I'm leading by a goal or hanging onto a draw against a stronger opponent and the commentary reads ''Blah Blah has beat the defence, only the keeper to beat. . .'', ''His shot hits the crossbar!''.

I also get extremely angry if my team performs terribly. I swear a lot as well while playing and I occassionally pull my hair as well. Oh yeah, I take it seriously, and that is quite unhealthy to be quite honest.

I start Unemployed and wait for job offers and apply for jobs, when im employed i usually start in the English lower leagues i.e league 1 or league 2. I let my assistant control my friendly, if im lower league club i always try to arrange 1 or 2 friendly at home against a bigger English team to get some money from the gates. i always do pre match interviews and post match. i dont apply for any jobs while im employed at another club, if i am asked if im interested in a job i always deny my interest which make my board happy with me. I always scout players before i decided to sign them and i only buy players who are better then what i already have if that possible. If my season is not good and im loosing i would possible resign before im saked normally in January or February. Im currently managing Wigan in league 1 after they we relegated and saked there manager im currently top of league 1 in December 2012 my assistant manager is Glynn Snodin who employed after i took over as manager in May 2012.

Oh yeah, you really have to stop that. Or at least tone it down to the extent that you don't always post the line-ups. That's too much.

... especially when we don't even know half of them.

I cheer my team on and yell everytime they make a mistake...

i just play it like regular people i guess.

i play it until the day it is today (if i start a new one) then i do all i need today and continue then save and quit

the enxt day i would do that day continue save quit, i do this all the time

haha I get that hart racing feeling too. It doesnt happen on anyother game apart from FM.
