I am using the Mullens 4-4-2 tactic with Manchester City and am not buying any players in my first season. I am winning all of my home games with "Control", but only drawing and loosing away games. Any ideas on what to tweak to improve my away results?

What settings do u use away..as in control/standard etc etc....
You being Man City, I guess you would be using control away too. You need to to strengthen your defence in the later stages of the match when leading narrowly. I used to lose vital points in away games as the opposition score late goals.
Whatever, try a different formation away......It depends on what strategy u use away...

Fluid, control, direct passing, man marking, float crosses, normal defensive line, wide, quick tempo, focus passing sometime and counter attack. It's the Mullens 4-4-2 which you can download.

I use the same strategy home and away, maybe a deep defensive line in the final third of the match or something like that?

I use a rigid formation, mentality depends on opposition, normal tempo ( a bit on the slower side) and short passing...
Many might say go for counter-attack with quick tempo and direct passing, but I feel if you can keep the ball away from home, the home defence will surely crack and I mean SURELY....Conceding cheap goals can also be avoided this way...
I registered good away results: 2-1 win over Man Utd and 1-1 draw against Madrid while playing for Juventus and the sole reason is I like to keep the ball even away. As a matter of fact, I do the same in my Sheff Utd save....
Many might disagree but it works brilliantly for me

Yeah I have been winning 90% of my away games now pretty much, thanks mate. The only loss was 3-1 to Bolton in the league cup, but I think that was a one-off and wright-phillips was being a *** anyway.
