How to create a competition?

I have been trying to create a World club championship competition by selecting 30 nations and taking the best clubs out of that nation and putting them into a "world champions league" Ive added the first knockout stage and I want the lower quality teams to enter through that like south east Asian teams and North and South American teams, and the decent quality teams from leagues like Turkey and Greece and South Korea and then the winners of that Enter a league table where the fixtures get played over about 2 years.

The problem is when I press "Test Nation Rules" it says I haven't set the rules for La Liga. What exactly do I need to do to get the competition working? Or is there a similar Competition on this site?

someone has done there own version of the comp. they have the champions of all 208 nations entering the comp and striaght knockouts. its a pretty good DB which i have done loaded and looked at.

not sure how you set it up so the lower teams come in 1st then are joined by the better teams. regarding the rules bit the only thing i can think of, is whether you have selected "specific Team" or "Cup Winners" on the teams tab.
