How to Create Ball Playing Defender

Now I know there is a BPD player role, but IMO it really doesn't do much.

Has anyone had success in adjusting sliders to create an attacking ball playing defender who sometimes comes from the back to make plays or even take a long shot or two?

I fiddled with it once, but I never see any highlights of him doing anything, and I dont notice any difference in match analysis compared to his partner (regular defender)

Fabricio Coloccini has been impressive in this role for me, but generally don't go with it, as it can leave a gaping hole in the backline.

The question wasn't whether or not, but how. |)

besides I usually have a pretty deep dm who has often covered for an out of place cb before.
