How to get Germany Back

Has anyone figured out a way to reenable the german national team in a current save?

If SI can block germany mid-save, could there be a way to fix it mid-save?

I just hate that I got to 2019 and germany is ruined.

go to C:\Program Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2011\data\updates\update-1130\db\1130\lnc

then,delete folder name "all"

That would only fix future saves

Not current saves where the previously playable german national team is greyed out from the new patch.
 
Just delete the same files in the update folder. It will work for a previously started game but the squad will remain greyed out until the next international fixture when the squad is selected. Not sure why people always think that it only works with new saves.

germany have had six internationals since the update wiped them in my game...

its still greyed out.. it must be new saves only
 
Well I started a new game after the patch came out but forgot to delete the files unitl mid september in the first season and after the next international break the team was real again.
 
Deleting the files midsave worked for the two previous patches, but not for this one so far.

The last two international callups have been grey for me.

I am at 30. August 2016 btw.

Have you deleted them from the other update folders as well? I have and it worked so that might make a difference.

Yeah i did. All four of them (I did it in July on the game if i remember correctly)

Guess i will have to wait until the callup in October then.

Edit: Also for some wierd reason, i cant see the faces of the players in the Dutch and French national teams either (Yes, i have a facepack)

It will be fixed after the next international call, so you must wait until that happens.

It should work after the call up. To get your facepacks working you need to follow the same directory as if you were deleting the fake files but instead of going into "Inc" go into "Edt" amd delete Fake.edt and team_holland.edt. The french faces should appear after you deleted all of the folders to get the real Germany team so make sure there is nothing in that folder.

I deleted those files aswell. Should i delete the Inc-folder itself too? Or is it enough with only deleting the files inside the All-folder?
 
in my game i have deleted all those fake files and germany have played loads of matches and still no team.. ive jsut given up cus im in 2018 and i dont wana start a new game

kina annoying because ive have 3 lethal german regens and i have Rene Adler and Toni Kroos in my first team
 
out of interest, this isn't a position i've ever been i but i was wondering what would happen to your save if you were the german national team manager before the update and tried to play on with your save after the update forgetting to delete the files. would it kick you from the job or something?
 
I would imagine the user would vanish or be unemployed.

Deleting the files should be enough. If you have deleted the extra files have you tried realoading your skin cache like when you add graphics?
