long time reader short time poster, so i don't know where to post this or if its been posted before.

i am Newcastle in the 3rd season first season they went down, then offered me a job, they sold all the big players so had to assemble a championship squad with small funds. they got took over half way through the championship season and Vowed to instantly pay off all debts. i got promoted and they are now in serious debt i cant afford to get any new players and i had to slash some wages that where only 4,000 a week. i have a really small squad as i tried to sell to get out of debt but didn't work, i tried the big friendly's but didn't work.

so how can i get out of debt?

Thanks :). xxxx

First year in the EPL you just want to stay up. So look for loan players from clubs (should be able to get some from within the league) and also look at the transfer listed people to either buy or loan. Can get them cheaper that way than buying people. You are going to have to wait a year or two in the EPL before you actually start to make money.

Are you paying debt or just in losing lots of money.

If it's a fixed debt which you pay a certain amount each month, it won't go away until the debt runs out. If you're losing money and in the red, you just have to sell players and slash the wage bill. You'd think a small wage bill with a big club like Newcastle would start turning profitable again pretty quickly due to ticket sales and sponsers.

paying debt and loosing around 5 mill a month at the same time :(.

Try asking the board for a parent club, you should be able to get some players on loan and you don't have to pay their wages :)

and i have £0 wages and like £60 a week wages so cant get any one in, even loans they want a fee :(. i sold all the 'big earning' players and got championship/league one replacements. i cant sell any one else as i cant even fill the subs bench :(.

it wont let me select the parent club option as im already in the top league? :(

check what your main expenses are in the finances screen and tell us here

Parent club? Ask your board, if they can find some candidates, pick the best one, you should be able to get players from that club to yours, without having to pay for it, the parent club will even have to pay you, to keep the "contract" running, try it.
I have no experience dealing with parent clubs, but I always ask for a feeder club, so that I can try and put my youngsters in that team so that they can get some first team football, being top in the Belgian league, it's not always easy to get them to go there, most of the time they refuse, which could happen to you as well, but I'd give it a go.

Oh, you are playing in EPL?
I thought you were still in CPL because you said they went down, see if you can choose feeder club but don't ask for it, just see if option is available, does it say "top league" when you mouse over "parent club"?
Sorry, not familiar with English leagues :|

yeah in EPL, first season i was Wigan, Newcastle went down and approached me and i took them back up VIA play offs

yeah with the debt you have to pay off as long you will just have to survive in the EPL to get your sponsors back up and use all the money you get from the ELP to help climb you back out. I wouldn't try to buy anyone for a two to three unless its for transfer listed people.

that relegation must've really screwed it up. I'm so glad I had a good late season and made it to mid tables my first season

Sell your best player if theyre worth it. Im guessing its Carrol? That should give you about £10m to play around with. Although it may only end up being like £5m due to the transfer fee percentage being lowl ; im guessing it is with your debt.

yours is about making money, mine is about monthly installments then how to manage it and control it :) your thread is great :)
