Hey all, got a bit of a problem. I've got a superb striker regen who is 24. He currently has continental rep and plays for the currently 17th ranked club in the world based on coefficients.

He has scored over 350 goals in less than 250 games. Scores nearly 1 goal per international appearance. Has was Euro Golden Boot 3 times, has won French national player of the year 3 times. Has won Liga Sagres player of the year 4 times. Every single big name club has knocked at my doors offering 60+ million for him since he was 19. Has scored in the World Cup Final, and was voted as the 2nd striker in world cup dream team.

Yet he is still continental yet a 22 year old italian regen with not even 1/4 of the accomplishments is World class.

Can anyone suggest anything, or have any similar experiences? Would love to have two world class players on my team to sell extras jerseys to china.

Which club are you? And what's your clubs rep? This can also play a significant role in how your players are considered. I must admit, it does seem quite strange that he hasn't gained world rep yet though, given what he's achieved. Also, any chance of a few screenies of him? He sounds like a beast!

I'm Estrela Amadora from Portugal (starts in 4th division). We are borderline national/continental rep, have won sagres a couple times along with cups, and always make it to knockout round of champions league.

Top 30 in finances and as mentioned ranked 17th in Europe.

Last 3 years, my striker has missed out on World Player of the Year shortlist...(btw messi won 5 of the last 7 with CR winning the other 2!)

You don't have much control of that, but here are some intuitive answers:

1. Consistent appearance in international scene in addition to wins at the upper level competitions i.e world cup
2. Part of a renowned club, your club might need a better reputation.

Age can also play a part, if he's as good as you say he is he'll eventually become world class.

The reputation system works on a point system. For the club it happens to be that every win adds points to you reputation while loses lowers it. Not sure exactly on the point distribution but if you are successful in the long run you'll gain in reputation. I am assuming the same goes for a player where goals, appearances, wins adds to reputation. It'll just take some time.
