How to get the best out of my DLP?

Hello, Im playing a 4-3-3 with Fabregas as my DLP, and just wondering how to get him to control the matches he plays like xavi does for barcelona. How can i get him to make around 100 passes per game and over 2 key passes per game, i really want my DLP to control matches like xavi does IRL.

well it would help if you did screenshots to see the shape of your 4-3-3, a screenshot of your team instructions and player instructions for DLP but i would either change roles or find someone else because Cesc Fabregas is a Advanced Playmaker not a DLP
