Hi, I started a season with Blackburn aiming to take them back to premier league glory. I am currently in September and have won every game i have played. The problem is when i took over i was 82K over my wage budget (which is what i expected). I have now managed to get that down to around 25k with selling Olsson and loaning out rochina. I tried selling Leon best as he is only 3 star ability and is on 32k a week, way too much! Also tried selling Paul Robinson as he is now 34 and still on 35k a week. The first month i lost over 2 million. I havent brought anyone. My question is how can i get back under my wage budget when none of my players are wanted by other clubs? I really don't want to have to sell, grant hanley or Jason lowe as they are the future. I had an offer for Scott dann of 700k upfront and 2 mill over 4 years, i couldn't accept this as i needed the money upfront to put onto my wage budget and quite frankly he is worth way more than that! I can't afford to be losing that kind of money each month.

I am not at home at the moment so cannot post screenshots, however i will do this tonight if needed. Also i am on the classic mode, as this is much easier for me to get seasons done.

Any help and idea would be appreciated!

offer them a new contract with lowers wages, some will come down in wages if you give them bonuses. other than that i can only think of keeping them wat there on til jan and sell them, or loan them out with other team paying theres wages in full or majority of it,

hope you get it sorted

I'm currently in a game with Blackburn, and it's a challenge.

I got rid of Robinson and Best, but only on loan, with the other clubs paying around 60% of his wages. Sold Scott Dann for ?3.1m as Kilgallon and Hanley are a good partnership, and Dann is very injury prone.

Here's a screenshot of my transfers:

I'm still losing a lot of money. Only got ?5m in the bank now, January. Looking good for promotion though, so hopefully when I get promoted my money problems will go away.

You can porbably discuss with the player to terminate his contract for a reasonable price.
Or just tell em you don't need them anymore so they wanna get out and will go for cheap price fairly easy.

With HSV (Hamburg) in 2014, I was expected to cut my wage bill by 200k p/w (bear in mind I inherited this squad).
Being 25k over budget will not get you the sack unless you stay that way past a season.
Mutual terminations will destroy your finances, avoid these if possible.
End of season transfer windows are the easiest to shift players in, try offering out players on the day you are officially (not preliminary) given your transfer and wage budget.
Offer for transfer at full value, if no interest; for loan, if no interest; then half value. If none of this works, you just have to bite the bullet and keep board confidence high in other areas.
