How to give an ultimatum to the board in fm 2012

Afternoon all,

My board refuses to upgrade the training facilities, even though the money is there, and it has stayed at the same standard for near on 6 seasons.

I am loved by the board and the fans after 3 back to back promotions, but am wanting to know how do I give the board an ultimatum.

When asking for the upgrade the board turn round and say no, but where is the option to give an ultimatum to the board as I cannot find it anywhere.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I didnt think you could, so the helpful hints and tips bit, where it says be careful when giving your board an ultimatum is redundant then!

Stupid taking that feature out of the game if you ask me.

You can further down the road-given a few ultimatums myself so it is possible. Though not advisable all the time. Can't remember how far into my career it was though

I did it fairly early on. Conversation went:

I want youth facilities upgrading blah blah blah
board: pass.
me: I think its needed to do this and that etc etc.
board: pass!
me: if you dont fulfil this request, im off
board: do you want us to accept your resignation?
me: pass.
