Does anyone have any tips on improving relationships with other managers?

Specifically, I'm trying to "become friends" with a premier league manager so that my team (Lewes, now promoted to League 2) can get friendlies or loans from those clubs.

Why don't you state your admiration for one of the top managers through manager interaction? I'm not 100% sure that will guarantee they'll be your parent club but it's worth a try.

Just keep praising the manager you want to be friends with every week, eventually you will become one of his favoured personnel, once you are its easier to get transfer and loan bids for his players accepted.

Yeah if you keep praising them, they usually turn around and give you positive feedback. I did that with a Premier League club whose manager had a poor opinion of me, i praised him and know he's me parent club manager!!

Also if you diss managers, when you are then a international manager and for a friendly squad his players are in your squad, he will withdraw them on you. Happened with Ireland, I had ****** off half of the Premier League so my friendly squad against BRAZIL had no premier league based players!!!

yoyu have to be careful though, praise fellow managers too often and your sqaud wil become unsettled as they may feel that you should be concentrating on your own clubs affairs rather than someone elses.

My players seem happy that i'am diverting media atention away from them lol :D

fair enough lol. i guess ive only ever tried becoming friends with other managers when im a small prem club looking for a bit of help. obv the prem hasd alot more media pressure. with any lower league ga,es ive always gone with the: ''its us against the world'' attitude with my players, shunning the media and creating a real tight knit squad. but if befriending a higher manager helps the squad overall then im open to it
