How to improve Roles Familiarity?

Hello World!

On the previous fm you could improve a role familarity by selecting it and training on it quite. I have been training a striker in Complete Forward position for 5 years but no changes. Seems the same with other positions aswell like changing Midfielder to Defence. Am i doing it wrong?

Are you playing him also for that position? CF needs many specific attribution and ultimatly even if you train him long for that position, he will never develop the skills to master it.

Also, are you playing at a fairly low level? Some roles have CA minimums, where they won't show as familiar for low level players.

But honestly, ignore the role familiarity aspect. If the player works in the role, they do. Green or not.
