I am starting my fourth season as the manager of Crystal Palace, and I want to make a good push for the top four in the Premiership, having finished a fantastic 5th in the previous season. This is my team (playing Steaua's 4-1-1-2-2):
GK: Sergio Asenjo
LB: Joe Mattock
RB: Davide Santon
CB: Olexandr Chyzhov, Thiago Silva
DCM: Franco Zuculini
CM: Thiago/Riquelme (now 33)
AML: John Fleck
AMR: Henri Saivet
ST: Keirrison, Bojan
As you can see, I favour a young team, and my main concern is Thiago, the young central midfielder that I signed from Barcelona. He is not a bad player, but I think I could do better. The other thing that is making me think is whether I should sell Henri Saivet to Real Madrid. They appear to be willing to pay anything: they offered £40 mil up front, and the board accepted it but Saivet rejected the contract. He has been so valuable and I do not particularly want to let him go, but if there is someone who I know will do better, then it may be the best thing to do.
Thanks!
