My guide to keeping organised when story writing

thediary-15.gif

Hi guys as you probably know I am very active in the career section with my career and have
decided to share with you how I keep myself organised.

Fixtures :

. Write down all your fixtures for the coming month and put H or A beside symbolising home
or away.

. Write next to each fixture what you expect to get out of the game e.g Win,Draw or Lose
just so you can see where you went wrong that month.

. When you get the best information on that team get a clean page and draw out you formation
and squad. Then put a predicted score.

. After the game put the players rating next to the player on you page with the formation and squad
to see who played well and who didn't.

. Always take a screenshot of each game just in case people ask for one or you just want to change
your style of writing.

. Pick out your favourite game and post it as a one game update as it will make it more intersting.

Transfers :

. Always put a page saying transfers in and out for the appropriate window and leave room to put
players names and prices on.

. Make sure you take a screenshot of the player then and compare later on for future reference.

. Scout a player before making an offer just to make sure the player is good enough for the team
and that your not wasting money.

. You MUST take a screenshot of the final window of all transfers so that again if you change your
style you have proof of your signings.

Updates :

. Make sure you slightly change your writing some times to keep the story interesting.

. By the side of your matches you should have player ratings , score and scorers to
be able to write your update.

. Always put the time of the goal so people can see how close the match was .

. Use a monthly update and add 1 normal game update each month ( What I do but its up
to you)

Tactics :

. Listen to your scouting reports from your scouts as this helps you play your best football
possible.

. MUST read the pre-match meeting as these are so vital in winning your matches .

. Your team will have a prefered tactic use this where possible and slot players in.

. When you buy a new player no matter how good he is you must never re shuffle
your formation to suit him you must slot him in so it does not interupt your teams
flow.

. Try to mix things up and try different things as you never know anything until you
try it .

Anger :

. Always have something ready to throw as it releases the anger of losing.

. Check out a guide on anger somewhere on this site.

General :

. Everyone states this but I can not state this enough even if you do not get comments
straight away keep going because if you stop nobody will comment anyway so you need
to persevere.

If you need any screenshots to show you what I mean just ask me !

And finally I must express again use screenshots and this is just my opinion of story writing
but I hope it helps.

Good Luck !

This is something I wrote over on TAS

Yeh its all very good writing huge detail for every match but for someone who is planning to do a long story - over 5 years etc it can get very boring so sometimes its easier just to keep things simple. And only put a bit more detail in the big matches this will keep you from getting bored of writing out your story imo.
