and if you have the face pictures of, you can go to their history and see what their first playing year was. You probably play the english league so that means a player started in 2009-10 is a regen in your game. When you started in the year 2009 in the Malay competition or somewhere else you will have 2010 as the first regen year.
However, when you include the MLS and load all their players, there 'college teams' will have regens from the start of the game.
And regens have a birthplace at their personal discription, some ingame players don't.
