If you wanted to keep RONALDO in a third division belgium side. How do you do it?

This might work. Go the the editor and give him like a 15-20 year contract. The expiry date, change it to 2025 or something and then you could also select the " will leave at the end of contract option."

This way I dont think other teams will be able to make an offer for him.

Or you could arrange a future transfer for him in the year 2025 or something to some club.

As the other post said the best way to do it is but him leaving on a transfer in whatever year

Raise the reputation/wages/budget/facilities/etc. of your club all in editor.

The bigger your club become - the more players with high reputations will want to stay at your club

Even then it won't be "simple" and sometimes there are other factors.

Raising his loyalty and lowering his ambition would also help.

I don't recommend you cheat but I prefer that method of cheating to buying, say, Balanta with a "small" club and thinking it's an achievement to win something XD lol. Send C. Ronaldo to Bermuda 3rd division!
