How to make database smaller

Hey guys,

So I started with a database of about 375k and I want to make it smaller. I read that going to Add/Remove Leagues and removing leagues decreases it and it does this by a few thousand each, but even if I were to remove every league in this screen (like in the image shown) for some reason the database would sill be 325,000. I'm not sure how to reduce it any further or if I'm missing something?

If you remove a league, that will not be immediate effect. Probably next transfer window.

I think you have to remove the league and wait until the date the league has been removed for the player numbers to decrease. I could be wrong though.

Hi, thanks for your reply. After looking around a bit more I think it is because I have a huge amount of leagues not currently loaded, but set to 'view only'. Every day that I sim through, I have to wait as the game generates results for random leagues around the world that I don't have currently loaded. Is there any way to remove these leagues completely?
