Hey Guys and in this thread I'm just going to try and give you guys some pointers on how you can prolong a career/save on Football Manager 2015.
Okay, so there are many people out there who have most likely had 3,4,5 maybe even more saves on this years addition of FM alone when what they really want is a save that can last. A save that you can get so immersed into that you forget what day of the week it is and I'm here to give you some ideas to help you keep that save going and if you guys have any then please tell me them in the reply section!!
- The first hint would be to avoid that first season wonderkid overhaul. Yes it's fine bringing in one or maybe even 2, but when you bring in like 20 different wonderkids then your game will get very boring quite fastly. I personally leave it a season before I sign a wonderkid just to give him some time to see how he does in the first season and if he's developed enough and is still young enough to develop more or if he has had an awesome season then I will sign him
- Another good way to prolong a save is just to make sure that the team you have chosen is a team you have some knowledge about. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that you absolutely cannot go with am obscure team in the Faroe Islands 7th Division and have fun and play it for many, many in-game years. What I am simply saying is playing as a team who you have some knowledge of makes it a little easier to get started and then carry on just because you know that club and players better, that is one of the reasons I had chosen Liverpool. They are a team I know a fair amount about and they are a team that I know almost all of their players so it makes it easier to get started and maybe even grow an attachment to that team. You don't have even choose your favorite team or even a team in a huge country. I know a fair amount about the MLS and when I have played in that league on FM, I have had a lot of fun for an extended amount of time.
- The last point that I will make will be.. Give your save a chance. The amount of times I have read or heard about someone who has started a save and gave up after one friendly game is unbelievable but it happens and something as simple as giving it a chance will definitely help you get into the save and how loads of fun!! #GiveYourSaveAChance
Anyway, I hope you guys have enjoyed reading this little essay and I hope it has given you a little help in prolonging your saves and don't forget you can also post some of your own tips!!! Thanks lads
