I have gone from playing Football Manager 2012 to 2014 and before you just clicked control team under team policies which is no longer there. I really enjoying the other teams.

Sorry if this has been asked before but I couldn't find anything out when searching. Do I have to fire the current managers of the teams. Tried to make the manager the assistant manager but he wouldn't take the contract.

thanks

Nikki

You can, but you cant have some specifically for that role already. You have to fire him and then choose yourself in the dorp down under Staff Responsibilities

Some teams, like B-teams in Portugal, Spain and Germany cannot be controlled by you, they have a coach of their own.

You just can control transfers and in some cases, tactics.

Junior teams i dunno, didn't tried this version

Should be under staff responsibilities. I have never tried to manage them, but I assume as long as they have a dedicated manager you cannot give the responsibility to yourself or your assman. Save the game, then try to terminate the U21/U18 managers contracts and then give yourself the responsibility under the staff responsibilities screen. Reload the savegame if I'm wrong ;)
