How to play a network game?

Hi,

I'm new to football manager so I'm guessing these questions are probably going to sound stupid.
How does a network game actually work?
I'm in the off-season after my 2nd season with Liverpool and my bro wants to join in on my game with Arsenal. Is this possible? Or would we need to start a new game at the same time with him managing Arsenal and me managing Liverpool? How does it work when we have to play each other? So would I be able to sell and buy players from him?

yes he can join you need hamachi, use the search bar and you will find the answer, this thread will probs get closed

you need to download hamachi both of you and your brother you make a network and he joins then he writes in your hamachi i.d. into fm10 then he joins and you can do transfers between yourself easy.
