hi, i'm managing Crystal Palace for 2nd season in premier league and right now we are not really good at the back. i've decided to change my formation from 4-4-2 to 3-1-3-2-1 or 3-3-1-2-1(still testing both) because i can't get really good player to play down my right and left back as most of them are injury-prone. can anyone teach me how to play using three DC or know any tactics can i use because until this moment we can't defend very well. I'm using narrow pitch with quick tempo and using short passes. Below are screenshot of my DC's and GK. Please, i really need a guidence!(A) any suggestion are welcomed!

My DC's:

Take a look at my Tornado 3-4-3 . Verkhovstov and N'Diaye can both play as MCL|McR if you need them .

If not you can copy the defensive settings. I reccomend copying closing down and tight marking as is. I think that having a MCL and MCR is also important for good defending with 3 CBs. Maybe you can have 3 MCs but you should make them have high closing down so they are ready to cover the flanks. I don't think that would work very well though.

I also tried to play with 2 TS and one AMC but that never worked as well as with 2 wingers tho so I recommend you use it as is.
