My friend is managing Chelsea and he boughtb Agüero and he is in top form. I am managing Man Utd and i'm planning on man-marking him with Anderson.
Is it possible to do that?
Yes it is although you have to consider that a player too high up in the field will never will able to actually mark a player a far bit from him. ( like a DMc thats sometimes moves forward makring an advanced FC, a MC marking a deep dropping FC etc)
Why and when ?
Personally, I use this against a deepdropping FC, like Rooney, Tevez etc and i always use my DMC, a player that sits in the hole anyway and is a inbetween strata player, meaning that his position on the field is not important as such. I also use this when I want to play the same formation in defence as the AI does in attack, matching my 451 against their flat 442 etc.
When using specific manmarking, you have to take into account that your player might get dragged out of his defenisve starting position, dragged out of the zone he is supposed to cover. You should also consider, just olike stated abovem that a player ebing in a defenisve starting position too far way from the AI players attakcing starting position will have a reeally hard time actually marking h
How and When ?
Naturally, you have to make this choice after having submitted your team but before kickoff.
