I usually do this schedule of training:
Pre season:
General training:
- Main focus: Fitness
- Intensity: Very high
(If I buy 5-7 new players, I switch main focus to team cohesion for 1 week)
Match Preparation:
- Main focus: Tactics
Customized Schedule:
- Match preparation: 40%
In season:
General training:
- Main focus: Balanced
- Intesity:
"Very High" in a week with no matches
"High" in a week with one match
"Average" in a week with 2 matches
"Low" in a week with 3 matches (e.g Sunday, Wednesday, next Saturday)
Match preparation:
- Main focus: Team work
Switch to Defensive Position when face big team
Customized Schedule:
- Match preparation: 10%

Individual training: Listen to my assisstant coach to change focus for my players
Do I set the training too high? Sometimes I see my players just walk when attacking, even though I set the instruction to high tempo.
