Hey,i wanted to ask if there is a way to sort players in the Transfers-> Player Search screen (basically where you see players you have scouted) based on whether you can Approach To Sign them.
When players enter the last 6 months of their contract they can sometimes, but not always,be approached to enter a pre contract. Moreover youth players can be sometimes signed years in advance however having to right click through tenths of players just to see if the "Approach To Sign" line pops up,and even having to do that frequently towards the end of the season is very frustrating so is there any way around it?
Thanks

I'm not exactly sure I understand what you're saying..

If you mean you want a notification when players are in their last 6 months of contract, then just shortlist them. Your Assistant Manager will let you know when you can 'Approach to Sign' them. However, if you're an English club, then you cannot sign players at English clubs until only a month is remaining on their contract (Or it was English players at English clubs, I'm not too sure about this specific point).

IF you're talking about youth players, then I don't think there's any way to know, other than manually checking them. You can generally 'Approach to Sign' them when they're generated on their respective generation dates (Google or search FM-Base, you should find it.)

If you're talking about the transfer screen, then go to 'Search Players -> Expired Contracts -> Expiring in 6 months/1 year'. That should give you a better idea. However, it'll only show players as are covered in your scouting range.

I mean in the transfer screen.Sure, you set it at expires in 6 months and a huge list pops up.However some of them you can approach to sign but some of them you can't,the option isnt available yet, probably due to that rule you mentioned. Moreover for youngsters,as i mentioned,it's often possible to get a pre contract one or two years in advance.
All in all i wanted to know if there is an option to short players based on whether I can,at that specific time, offer them a contract.Checking them one by one is rather tedious.
