Hi All,

I had a super first season with Sunderland playing counter attacking football direct passing narrow play.

But i want to transition to more confident football with a bit of swagger.

Anyone done that sort of transition by the second season or is this something that will get me sacked?

Depends on the players you have. If you are expected to be in the relegation battle then its best if you stick to the counter attack strategy for the time being.

However you can still use another tactical style against opposition that are weaker than you. I would say use a tactical slot for this 'swagger' tactic and use it parallel with your current counter attacking tactic. If the swagger tactic works then you can switch to it next season. Dont switch while the season is in progress.
