I'm having a lot of trouble finding the right formation for Roma. I've had a really successful save with Charlton using formations of 4222, 41221 and 4123 but can't seem to find one to fit my Roma team.
The main thing I've struggled with is the use of Totti. I did have a small attempt when I first got the game and tried him CF up front but he would average around 6.30. I can't not play him as he's just too good when played right. I can't have someone that good just sitting on the bench and the fact he's on over 100k a week means he's got to be involved.
I've also had poor experiences before of a narrow 4231, even though this feels like it'd work as I'd have Totti/Pjanic/Florenzi/Ljalic/Strootman who could all fit in there if needed.
I'm getting rid of some deadwood at the moment (Burdisso/Marquinho and a couple of others) and getting Doria as a long term partner for Benatia but I'll still have around 5-6m to spend on a player depending on what formation I'll be playing.
