I currently have about 30-35 players in my first team capable of winning my league (greek premier)
It's a mix of established players and extremely talented youth.

After loaning 4-5 of them out there is still 2-3 complaining and I imagine the number of complainers is going to rise into the season.

How do I handle this?

Sell my very best players for GOOD money and have my second class take their spot?
Sell the complainers for as much as I can get? (not that much)
Sell those that their contract is expiring?

How would you handle a squad of 30-35 players full of talent? Need advice and ideas.

i would sell my ageing playerswho i could sill make a profit off

Pick the best for every postiion and the most potential for each postion in your formation, flog the rest.

In my saves, if someone complains and they aren't worth much, I set them for release or transfer and let my Director of Football handle it.

My first team now has 30 players. How many should I be looking for?

I'd say aim for 25.

My squad is currently 23 first teamers, plus 5 players loaned out (mainly young third choices that will be taking over from 30+ players soon.), 2 club legends who don't play, only tutor and 3 youngsters that will be future first teamers and are mainly in the squad because of a recent cup game.

It's best to have a first squad, plus a backup squad with whom you can rotate. Ideally, that backup squad should also contain talented youngsters who are decent enough to play for the first team. So around 22-25 would be ideal/

Good general rule, but I might keep a versatile defender and a versatile midfielder as well to help cover injuries.

35 players, way too much..

i have a squad of 23 max including 2 goalkeepers.. i have a starting 11 i use for League Games, and a starting 11 i use for Cup Games and the Champions league group stages. in the second half the season i'll play my second starting 11 in a league game before a champions league tie and play my first 11 in the champs league.. that's how i rotate it and keep everyone happy.. with Youth, i loan them out until they're good enough to warrant a starting place in my second 11.. You might have to read that a few times :P but 30-35 players is way to much, will take ages to gel
