Hello

After the sacking of Mark Hughes, The Manchester City board decided it was time for a change so they appointed a very novice manager in Lee Watson. with the budget and wage structure in place it was time for Lee to strut hes stuff he decided it wud b a title challenge so he collected £73 million to spend with 2.3 million in wages

There was a lot of wheling an dealing in the market.

below is the first fixtures for Lee and a copy of the table

You class spending £70m as wheeling and dealing ? Good luck..

Yikes, a Man City story? Good luck.

Are you disappointed with your first games? I certainly would be, drawing to Stoke at home and losing to Wolves.

Very disapointed we should of won but sorenson got MOM award and against wolves we didnt play at all

good luck, give them some time to gel cos its a relatively new team, though i think you overpaid for muntari though

I agree with above, good luck with this story but:) you should also try and sign N.Otamendi in January he is a world class centre half in a few years

Good luck mate ;) imo it would be more realistic to start in January as has has been sacked in decmeber.... just a thought :)

I officially love you for buying Muntari :D (H)

bit of a pointless story but good luck with it anyway
That's harsh. If you don't like it don't comment.

Hello

yea at the moment can only play this at night time due to work and gf commitments etc

i know i paid a bit over the top for muntari but de rossi was like 45m and i just wante da better DM then wot i have got as i dont rate de jong. plus the tactic im playing i can use muntari as a DM and a MC if i decide to put De jong as a DM.

Tevez is nto scoring at all - and adebayor is lethal at the moment

got some tricky games coming up as well

im new to this forum by the way so bear with me :), plus man city is not as easy as it looks becuz there pressure on you to do well while investing in players.

But i shall update of a night time only way i can do it or if i get time off :)

ill try and do a bretter layout as well

Thanks all

one person you could and shoulf of bought is andrea pirlo. i bought him in when i was man city i played hims as advanced playmaker and he was amazing.

youre struggling with tevez? play him up front as a trequartista he works wonders

Hello

After september good run of results for Man City

Chelsea 2 : 3 Manchester City ( Tevez 3 )

Good win for Manchester City, was 2 : 0 up at half time thanks to 2 first half strikes by Tevez, half way thorugh the 2nd half De Joong got himself sent off and was down to 10 men , chelsea then scored 2 times thorugh lampard and terry , befroe Tevez made it 3 : 2 with not long on the clock.

Manchester city 1 : 0 Aston Villa ( Ireland )

Good win but a very close fought battle between 2 sides who played good football a single goal by Ireland was enuff to take all 3 points

Manchester City 1 : 0 Aston Villa - League Cup 3rd Round ( Barry )

Again 3 days later and the 2 teams are at it again very close game again with another single goal scored by barry , tevez and adebayor missed some good chances after aston villa were reduced to 10 men.

Manchester City 2 : 0 Wigan ( Tevez ( pen ), Adebayor )

This was completely 1 sided, wigan were dominated from the very start, both teams had goals disalloed for offside but it was left to Tevez to open the scoring from the spot, adebayor then added a 2nd from close range to seal the 3 points needed.

all in all good set of results and just what we needed

Hello

OCTOBER UPDATE

West ham 1 : 2 Manchester City ( Robinho , Adebayor )

Was a close game all the way to the end , west ham taking an early lead a minute before half time, with Lee berating hes team for the way they were performing came out a diff team after the break, Robinho pounced on a defensive error to pull Manhester City Level, and deep in to stoppage time 95th minute Adebayor comes up with the winning goal which was last kick of the game

Arsenal 2 : 1 Manchester City ( Roque Santa Cruz )

Poor game from City, wasnt really in it and deserved to b beaten in the end, only highlight was Santa cruz scoring on hes come back from injury.

Manchester City 3 : 1 Sunderland ( Toure , Roque Santa Cruz 2 )

In truth was a poor game to watch , Toure scoring from a close range header from Robinho corner, and then Roque Santa came up with 2 more goals to take hes tally to 3 goals in 2 games happy to take all 3 points

Manchester City 1 : 0 Sheffield United - League Cup 4th Round ( Kompany )

Vincent Komapny 1st goal of the season saw manchester city thorugh to the 5th round of the carling cup, in truth Manchester City dominated from start to finish and if it wasnt for the heroics of bunn in the sheffield united goal it wud of been double figures, the gulf between championship n premier is alot,

Other News

NOVEMBER UPDATE

Portsmouth 0 : 0 Manchester City

not a result i was looking for in all it as a poor match adebayor had a goal disallowed for apprent offside - i wud complain but prolly get sent to the stands like wenger did.

Manchester City 1 : 0 Bolton ( Adebayor )

3 points in the bag but still not happy with the result it shud of been more but only goal scored by an in form Adebayor

Liverpool 3 : 2 Manchester City ( Adebayor , Wright Phillips )

great second half fight back but sadly it wasnt enuff in the end , liverpool were 3 : 0 up by half time Torress scoring twice, a very shrewd team talk at half time spurred the team on and managed to pull 2 goals back thorugh Adebayor and Wright Phillips but sadly it wasnt enuff.

Manchester City 1 : 1 Manchester United ( Tevez )

In fairness this should of been a game i shud of lost manchester united dominated from the start and if it wearnt for Stuart taylor in for the injured given the scoreline wud of been alot higher but thanx to Tevez equalising in the 84th minute to earn a well earned point.

Below s the screen shots and also the league table

cheers dude city is not as easy as every1 makes out to b - to many new players to start off with so takes ages for team to gel
