Welcome

So I thought I would start a season with my hometown club Hull City. Safe to say the club as been struggling the few years so I want to try and bring back the good days by getting the club back into the premier league.

They are two main key players in Jarrod Bowen and Kamil Grosicki two really good wingers.

Staff

I've gone with three different tactics the fluid counter attack to start of with for maybe the first two season due to the clubs fight for relegation then I will work towards going to a vertical tiki taka when the clubs ready for the top half them when the club is ready for the play offs/promotion I will go with the 4-1-2-3 Gegenpress.

Transfers ins/Outs

Transfers from the first season had to sell Jarrod Bowen the January for 5 million due to him wanting to leave the club I had to replace him a wingers on loan he played well in the second half of the season sent a few young lads out on loan

Overveiw

I can only apologise if the thread isn't good as this is my first attempt at this. I hope you all have enjoy reading through the thread.
So the first season what I can say It was a mixed one some really good positives losing jarrod bowen for a cheap price wasn't the best bit of business but can only move on finishing 18th was pretty good hopefully I can have a better season next year with some new signings.

Season 2

The big news coming out of thr club at the beginning of pre season is that the club has a new owner a Russian tycoon called Roman Shipulin that give us a good amount of transfer money to spend over the summer on 2 new wingers and a central midfielder. The aims for this season is to finish mid table and build toward a top half finish next season.

Transfers

With the loss of Jarrod Bowen in the January there was more departures in the summer with Kamil Grosicki and Markus Henriksen both leaving the club on a free transfer. My transfer activity had to focus on bringing in 2 wingers and a central midfielder as they were the key areas I had lost players so I began to search through what the scouting team had already scouted and I come across Alireza Jahanbakhsh for 9.5 million from Brighton and then I brought in Jack Harrison for 7 million from Man City played really well for leeds on loan the year before. The central Midfield i brought in was Shandon Baptiste from Oxford for 5.25 million a goalscoring midfielder and I also sent out a few lads on loan.

In the January transfer window I lost another key player in Jackson Ivine for 7 million and I also lost my back up goalkeeper Matt Ingram for 525k so my focus turned to the loan market as I didnt have much transfer money left from the summer so i brought in oliver skipp from Tottenham and Joe Lumley from QPR as a back up goalkeeper.

Much better season for results a lot more wins this season compared to last season I can see a good sign of progression in the team and a lot more positive this season.

League Table

20200219134512_1.jpg

My aim in the league this year was to finish mid table we achieved that with a 12th place finish saw a few positives as the defence was abit better this year and the attack got a few more goals to last year which is a good sign that the club is progressing in the right direction and the players are gelling together.

Review

A lot more positives then negatives this year with a good backing from the owner and a 12th place finish in the league the club is on the rise with some good signings and give the team a boost going into the new season some really good results this year. Next year I want to aim for the top half hopefully some new signing to push the club into the top half I will be going with a different tactic next year a more balanced approach.

I hope you enjoyed reading about the second season any feedback is welcomed.
