Nigel Pearson resigns
Nigel Pearson has today resigned from the managerial post at the K.C Stadium, it is thought he has been offered a better deal by an MLS team.

Ince new man in charge at the K.C
Paul Ince has been named the new Hull manager today after week's of searching for the right man. Hull's chairman Russel Bartlet said "I am delighted we have got our man, we was chasing him for a while and we think he will be the man to take us to the Premier League at the first time of asking"

Paul Ince's first interview since taking over

Sky Sport's : "How do you feel about taking this new job.?"

Ince :" I am excited and looking forward to it, it will be a hard challenge"

Sky Sport's : "You may need to strengthen your squad, have you got any targets in mind?"

Ince : "Yes, we are in talk's with a lot of agents at the moment trying to bring in some new players for the season"

Sky Sport's : "Last of all will Jimmy Bullard be leaving the club?"

Ince : "I think he will wan't to get back into the prem, so yes i do but i will try and talk him round to staying at the club".

Hull have today signed James Rodriguez, and Frank Songo'o, Ben Sahar, Mark Viduka, and Ruben Baraja after they impressed Ince after their trial's.

This is what Ince had to say about there pre-season: "I think we had a great pre-season erm.. we were undefeated which is always good, unfortunately Benjani rejected our contract to go to Villereal and i understand and respect his decision, i think we have a great squad and we will be pushing for promotion this year".​

A good start to the season for Ince's men with a well earned win.

He had a good game getting an assist and he threaded through some good balls aswell.

Scunthorpe 0-3 Hull
(Hesselink x2, Sahar)
A great victory over there fierce rivals, they were the better team in all departments

Man of the match- Jan Vennergoor of Hesselink.
He was on deadly form to score two goals and had a number of other chances.

Hull 3-1 Nottingham Forest
(Ghilas, Barmby, Viduk)
Another great performance and a deserved win..

Man of the match- Kamel Ghilas
He had a great game scoring one and assisting one, he deserved this award.

Leeds 0-0 Hull
A pretty dull game but as you can expect when two rivals meet there were lots of hard challenges going in and there were a total of ten yellow cards and one red.

Man of the match- Danny Wilson
He had a solid game at the back and put in some important tackles.

Hull 2-2 Southampton(4-2 on penalties)
(Barmby, Hesselink)
A entertaining game today with lots of chances, i can't really split the two teams apart as they both played well.

Man of the match- Alex Smithies
The penalty shoot out hero saved two of Southampton's four penalties and made some great saves to keep them in the game.

This is what Ince had to say about is first month in charge: " We have done well we are undefeated and i couldn't ask for a better start than this, i am pleased that we are sitting 2nd in the league"
