I can't edit the Barca shirts

For some reason I cannot edit the Barcelona shirts, I tired with Liverpool and got success, tried with Arsenal and got success, but no matter what I do (even if I clear all home jersey properties and add completely new categories) it still shows up the ******* same in game!!!

Any help would be greatly appreciated, I am trying to do it like the 08-09 kit as that was my favorite one the past few years.

Only editing the home kits.

This is because Barcelona's kits in the club 'Information' screen are the same as when you download a kit pack. Licensing allows Barca to have their real kits. The kit will be what you've changed it too in-match though.
