so far, i haven't lasted past 2 season on any of my saves, this game seems WAY harder than the other's and i don't know what too do, this seems to be the pattern of all my tactics and saves i create. in the last FM. the AI usually figures out you're tactic after half a season and most of the time you needed to change it up abit. NOW it seems that after 5 to 6 games they figure you out.

just take a look at this screenshot on my dortmund save. THIS GAME IS TOO INCONSTANT. you might argue that the fixtures i won are a lot easier than the ones i drew and lost. but it happens on almost all of my saves

I agree the game seems really inconsistent? Not a big enough margin between good teams and bad teams? Just a free for all where stats seem less important! No doubt once all bugs are fixed and the minor problems are ironed out we'l be back in business :)

Just to let you know, the AI doesn't "learn" your tactic, this is just a myth. The AI simply adapts its tactic to counter yours in the best way possible, especially if you're a bigger team than them and you're playing at home. If you're struggling against 4-4-2 for example, there's a good chance the opposition will choose that tactic. If you play attacking football, there's a good chance the opposition will play counter-attacking football.

There are also lots of other factors involved, like morale. If you lose a game and don't get a win in the next game, especially this being at home to a weaker team, you risk damage to morale which will affect your performance next time out.

Everyone apart from you? What an ignorant comment.

i read it like that. its meant to say "Try this tactic, everyone else is apart from him"

basically he isn't using it but loads of people have success are

the way you have just described it is basically what i said, maybe "learn" isn't the right word but like you said they figure out you're tactic. its just annoying that you can create a tactic, win 5 games in a row, then lose 10

Well, "figuring out" or "learning" implies a very advanced AI, and we're not quite there yet. I've also seen a lot of people ask if the AI learns/cracks/figures out your tactic, and a lot of people answering yes. But they don't, it's a myth. They just adapt their tactics to yours, they don't make your tactic obsolete or learn how to play against it. When you get a next opposition report, you can see what types of formations the opposition is weakest against. The AI uses this same information for choosing their formation. (But of course, it doesn't always work - you can still win even if they use statistics to try to beat you) So I just wanted to clarify.

adapting to you're tactic is just the same as learning it if you think about it. they "learn" you're tactic, then counter it...

That's a question of semantics. Personally I wouldn't call a basic use of basic statistics the same as acting as a human: Humans learn tactics, AI adapts in a much more simpler fashion.

I'm really struggling, I'm playing - 4-4-2 at start of season it was working well and I was winning games for fun, now I can't buy a win from anywhere, in fact all of a sudden my defence is playing absolute rubbish(all averaging 5s or less) don't know what I can do? Any help appreciated
