i have finally given up on this game. it has no longer become enjoyable for me. whether its my tactics or the me or whatever i just don't seem to be able to get any success whatsoever. every game i start i get sacked after 5 months in charge. i accept i am not good enough to play the game. reading the guides i think its far too complicated for a game and imo that has taken the fun out of it for me. i love the features within the full game compared to classic mode but i cant get nothing to work so yeah think i best delete the game before i break something

Not to be an idiot, but why did you start the thread then? If I gave up on the game, I'd have just left and not still create a thread about it. Are you looking for sympathy or advice or anything? There are plenty of people more than willing to help or give advice, if that's what you want.

if you can't find success then you need to be using teams like Real, Madrid, City etc.

to be honest I really really struggle on this game and get very angry how I just cant beat it at times (I player with lower league teams) but this is why I love this fm 14. previous versions I knew I could be any league 1 team and be in the premiership within 3 years it was easy. its a lot more realistic this time and I love the game for it. In real life who gets wigan promoted to the premiership and wins it within 5 years? it just doesn't happen.

I give up too, i had several saves with Liverpool but little success, reading on the internet about tactics didnt helped much because this game works in mysterious ways

I think Liverpool is a really tough game on this one. Especially if you try to replicate real life, which means playing the likes of Gerrard, Coutinho and Sterling in positions this game doesn't have them very effective in. And Suarez and Sturridge, despite having good stats on the update (their pre-January stats were a joke), are no way near as prolific as they should be. In real life they pretty much guarantee at least a goal a game, but on FM they seem to miss chances for fun.

Suarez never scored more than ~20 (in all competitions) every season on every save
