I made 3 tactics that I want to use with Swansea, what is the best way to use them?

I have played FM for years but I always tend to get one formation for a team and stick with it. I recently decided to do the SAF Challenge and I got Swansea, and I ran with one formation for awhile that was successful for me with Liverpool, and I was going to run a similar formation with Swansea too, so I stuck with it. However, I realised that it wasn't as successful, probably due to the players not being as good, so I created two other formations and I want to use all 3, depending on who I play against. However, I am not sure which formations are best to use at what times, such as which one is better for home or away, or against better or worse teams etc. So, I was wondering if someone could help me and could tell me what each formation is best suited for.
