If I play 4-2-4 wide (two wingers) with counter mentality and direct style of passing...My team is a lower league ,the worst in the League...Very low budget...
I need points at home to survive the relegation... which pitch size whould be the best suited for my team and why..
Any advice would be greatly appreciated...
Since I can change the pitch only at begining of a season I can't start playing the season unless I know what pitch size would help me go through the nightmare is awaited for me...
So please any advice ?

I'd prefer a narrow pitch size..
a few reasons:

a wider and longer pitch will ask for a lot more effort and running from your players, as such, chances are they'll get tired too often, injured, miss games, and so on.. with a top tier team, the players are better in general, and for lower teams, you need to be content with what you have, and use your resources well..

a narrow pitch, and ask your team to play wider, the wide players to sit wide and run wide, they'll be running almost at the touch line, and can deliver crosses for your strikers very well.. ask them to cross from deep or byline, upto you.. or let them over lap, whatever suits you.. you can come to these small conclusions after a few games I believe..

good luck..
