I need a tactic for Leeds 1st season!

I'm in my 1st season with Leeds and it's not going too well! Beckford's not scoring, i've signed Possebon, Ian Walker, Nemeth, Fiore, De La Cruz and a couple of others.

I've tried a couple of different tactics, I usually win 1 match but then lose 2 or 3. Any suggestions welcome please!!!

I had two consecutive promotions with Leeds into the Prem in my first two seasons there, playing a 4-4-1-1. Delph in the hole with Beckford up top on his own.
He's been a goal machine for me, got 20 in League one and 24 in the Championship.
Tip, play Aiden White (Youth Team) at left back from day one and he'll turn into a top class left-back.
