I need community help im really in a pickle

I bought Tevez and can't get him to perform at all. I don't care whether he scores or creates goals i have a goalscorer but he never plays above 7 in any game! He sees a lot of the ball but wastes it. Is he better played solo or as a winger or something? I've been using him as a DL Forward, a target man and even tried Complete ST.
Anyone able to offer any tips on Tevez? Thanks :)

Also, while i have the chance, i use zonal marking in every game - is that bad? What circumstances should i be looking to use Man marking instead?

PS. Also if im attacking and pushed up the field whats the best way to do this without getting bowled over by really fast counter attacks (im in serie A so finishing is generally good - or bad for me lol :( ). I always tend to struggle against 4-5-1
 
Use him as a complete striker, if that doesn't work re think your tatic to work around him... Try 442, him as CF and DZEKO and Poacher vice versa

I play with Lisandro Lopez as Poacher next to him and an advanced playmaker in the hole behind them

My coaches tell me they can both make good target men if you play the ball to their feet - should i ignore them? Cus Lisandro has amazing pace for the Serie A and is my most reliable scorer, but usually as a poacher. I play a 442 Diamond formation btw

Ye he's on a goal drought at the moment and it happened to be the exact same time Tevez decided to come into form, lol.

He scored 4 goals for me on his Seria A debut - first game of the season; then rocketed to 9 goals in 9 games then started missing open goals and stuff - he still breaks free and rounds the keeper but his finishing's just been soo wasteful - i have quite a few decent forwards, how long do you typically allow a quality striker to play before you start playing others in the bigger games?

PS.. Unrelated, but one of my season two regens is a 205cm target man!!! Can't wait to see him come through lol :)
