I need to train Modric or Kroos to a DLP (D), which one?

One of them has to stay back more, which one would you recommend?

Kroos. He's better defensively, and younger meaning he'll be more adaptable.

definitely kroos, modric has like under 10 in tackling marking & positioning i think & modric would suit dm a whole lot less, kroos played dm a little at bayern

Kroos def. I use him as a cm dlp(s) in my bayern save and he is awesome. IIRC i dont think his tackling is that high so i would recommend dlp(s) rather than dlp(d) and play him along side a bwm or anchorman. You could train his defensive stats but it would be a waste as he is better as a creative mid

Yeah could be tricky! How bout a narrow 4-2-3-1 with Kroos at cm and the others at AMC. Or a wide 4-2-3-1 with Kroos at cm and Modric and Isco as IF with James at AMC?
