I dont know about all clubs but Liverpool,Portsmouth and Cork City always get taken over within a few months in my saves
Take-overs mainly depend on how well a club does, their finances etc. Really you can make any club get taken over by being succesful with them. But yeah the clubs mentioned above usually get taken over. Leeds do often too.
when you start a game look at teams info and it will say chairman status or along those lines and it will say looking to step aside those are the more likley clubs to get taken over
It isn't hard to tell who's going to get taken over. At the start of a game the clubs "Chairman Status" would be "Looking to leave" or something similar, these are the clubs most likely to be sold.

Yeah. I made a list of those kind of clubs in England, but can't find it now. Portsmouth, West Ham and Liverpool are all dead certs on old patches, not too sure now, however.
